Golf

There are 100 golf courses to choose from.
David normally plays with his buddy Frank every Saturday. Friends are welcome to join us.
We make it a habit not to play the same course in any given month.
David has the Golf Passport Card, so we are able to obtain local rates. The average green fee with the card is $35.

Fun Places

Broadway at the Beach - Located in Mytle Beach.
Barefoot - Located in Wendy Hill - Be sure to see the Tigers and Monkeys
Choose from several minature golf courses.
Driving range and par 3 is Harbour View in Little River. (David goes there on Sunday afternoons to hit balls.)

Water

The beach is one mile due east from the condo. We get there by either walking, biking, or auto. The public access area at 8th Avenue North has a ramp and bathrooms.
The pool is right out our back door. There is a kiddie pool as well as a hot tub.
The Intra-coastal Waterway is 50 yards due west of our condo. There is a boardwalk and two boat docks.
The pond with a fountain is under our screen porch. The sound of the fountain is soothing. The ducks and the fish love to be fed.
If you want to fish, best to go to Cherry Grove Pier (ocean fishing) to the boat ramp area in Cherry Grove (sound fishing).

Shows

Alabama Theatre at Barefoot has the best shows. The One Show is good. Name entertainers appear about once per month.
Dixie Stampede has a good Christmas Show.
Legends in Surside (way down south) has best impersonators.
Elvis impersonator Eddie Mills appears at Alabama Theatre evey so often.
Le Grande Cirque at the Palace (Boardway at the Beach) is a must see - Children of all ages
